Mr Weston | Denver CO Newborn Photographer

Mr Weston was our tiniest peanut of 2018. Everything was so big on him! He was also 3 days fresh at his session. He was our first fall baby, so I had to take advantage of that and get some baby pumpkins for his session too. Those look so big compared to his little 4 pound frame. Here are a couple of my favorites from his session.

Santa Mini Sessions | Denver CO Children Photographer

Wow its been a busy past couple of months. Sorry I haven’t posted a session preview since October! Fall is a very busy time around the studio. Lots of babies being born, families updating their family portraits. We’ve been getting Christmas cards and other Holiday orders in. This time of year we have lots of themed Mini Sessions for the little ones in the fall. Which I’m backed up posting those as well. BUT… if you’re on Facebook, we do have two pages there that we update with sneak peeks throughout the week. Maybe in 2019 I will get more Blog posts up throughout the month 🙂

I wanted to share some of our adorable Mini Sessions we have had lately… I really want to share some of Miss Charlotte’s Santa Mini. She was super shy when she had her first session with me last winter, and has slowly opened up since then. She wasn’t too sure about Santa Claus, but I told her she could watch me photograph another little girl before her, so she could check him out and see how brave the other little girl was.

She thought that was a good idea, and had some time to check him out and fill up on Santa cookies. There were a couple of tears, but Santa eased her fears and gave her a yummy candy cane. After that she was all smiles and wanted to tell Santa all about her Christmas Wish List and lots of fun stories. She was super happy about sitting on his lap and reading him a Christmas story. Charlotte even brought along her brand new glasses! She is just super adorable!

This was our first year offering Santa Mini Sessions, and we can’t wait until next year! It’s so nice to schedule portraits with Santa on a date and time that works best for you. No need to stand in line for hours at a Mall and get rushed through a line for a single portrait. Little ones aren’t too sure about Santa at certain ages, and usually get upset when they are hurried to get a picture. I don’t want you to feel rushed or have your little one in and out.

We like the little ones to come into our Studio and visit with Santa to see that he’s a cool guy. There’s plenty of time to talk with him, give wish lists, read a story w and get extra fun treats. I also take a mix of posed and candid portraits so you can remember the magic for years to come. Siblings and Parents are more than welcome to join in the fun. We also offer custom Holiday Cards with your favorite portraits too! If you would like to join our list for next year’s Santa Mini Session, we will contact you when those are open for booking. Mini Sessions sell out weeks in advance, so getting on our list insures you are able to grab your preferred date and time before we are sold out.

Christmas PJ Mini Sessions | Denver CO Children Photographer

We are so excited about our upcoming annual Christmas Pajama Mini Sessions in our new studio!

We have a super adorable Holiday backdrop set up this year too. We will be taking a break from our cute and comfy studio bed… and I can’t wait for you to see our cute set up! We have a few more spots left for our December 1st mini session date.

We will be offering a 20% off our custom Holiday Cards this year, for those parents that would like to order custom Holiday Cards with their cute kiddos, at your mini session. You will be able to choose and purchase your favorite Holiday Card template after your session and then choose our portraits for those cards as well.

Session fees are due upon booking. Contact us for more details and scheduling. Your minis session comes with 10 edited digital portraits and print release for $165 plus tax. You can add on Parent portraits for an additional $20 if you’d like to wear matching PJs as well 🙂

Oh how I loved every single bit of Mr Silas’ newborn portrait session. His Mommy even brought that cute little moose and shelf mountains from his nursery, that we incorporated as props. Those portraits will look super adorable hanging up in his nursery for sure! I can’t wait for his 16×16 framed storyboard to arrive so I can share that with you too..

I think his Big Brother Miles was so excited to show off his Baby Brother!

Denver Colorado Baby Photographer | Miss Leila Turns One!

Mama brought a super yummy Vegan cake from Make Believe Bakery in Denver. I’ve never tried a vegan cake before now, but that was delicious. It was a strawberry cake with a filling! YUM! I think Leila loved it too! She had it everywhere by the end of her smash cake session. I loved incorporating light pink and gold into her custom milestone session. She was a doll to photograph! Nothing but big smiles from this little princess…

Nope I can’t believe it either! How is this sweet baby girl already 6 month old? I feel it was just yesterday that I photographed her coming into the world, and then her newborn session. It just doesn’t seem like a whole 6 months! And by 6 months of age, she is already a pro at sitting up on her own and crawling! Yes she sure is independent! Such a big girl! I couldn’t choose just a few of my favorites since she is just adorable! Can’t wait to share more with y’all….

Highlands Ranch Mansion | Denver Colorado Maternity Photographer

Highlands Ranch Mansion is a gorgeous location, if you’re in the Denver area. It’s definitely a place to visit if you’re in town for a short visit or if you’ve lived here for years like I have. It was my first time visiting the mansion and it won’t be my last. Such beautiful detail in this old mansion. I just love the history and old buildings, so I enjoyed checking out each room. Lots of pink bathrooms as well lol. This Mama was hoping for lots of snow the day of her maternity session, but we never got it. Only a few spots of snow left over from the week before. But there was snow in the Denver area… just not in Highlands Ranch… Colorado is just weird that way..

But Jessica is so gorgeous! I love belly hugging gowns for maternity portraits. She rocked her maternity portrait session, even if it was around 30 degrees outside and a little windy!  This cream lace gown is just gorgeous on her! We have it in our Gown Closet in our studio for any Mama to Be to use at their session. Contact us for details…
